CUSTOMIZED CURRICULUM

Our curriculum follows Early Learning Standards adopted by the North Carolina Department of Instruction.  It has been custom designed for Ruckus House by a child development specialist to enhance all facets of a child, including cognitive, physical, social/emotional and language development.

Children participate in activities that are developmentally appropriate and meet their individual needs and interests.  They will learn from active involvement with selected educational and culturally diverse materials, and through planned activities and direct interaction with the environment and our staff.

Outdoors is considered an extension of the classroom.  All children are taken outdoors daily (weather permitting) allowing them to participate in a balance of activities: active and quite play, free play, small group, or individual play.
