he Harrisburg, NC learning center was the first location built by Ruckus
House and opened its doors in the Spring of 2005. This location has already
seen a great deal of success and generated tremendous excitement in the area.
The Prototype
As our first location, the Harrisburg Ruckus House is where we perfected our curriculum and programs, put our core values into practice, and began to build an unrivaled team of childcare professionals. Ruckus House's ownership team has assembled some of the best childcare experts available and challenged them with developing a model that will be replicated throughout the United States.
Meet the New Assistant Director of the Harrisburg Center! Congratulations Amy Giles!
I have worked in early childhood for approximately 9 years. 2 ½ of that span was in administration at a faith based center in Cabarrus County. I have taught every age group from infants to school age. More recently, I taught in our own young 3’s classroom. During my time at the Ruckus House, I have worked in our Toddler and Infant classrooms as well.
As a professional, education is very important to me. I have as Associates Degree in Applied Science in Early Childhood Education from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. I hold a Level 1 Administration Credential and have applied for level 2. I have been accepted to East Carolina University to continue my education in the field, using their online program.
I am married, with three children of my own. I love to sing and love sports. Which sport is my favorite? Which ever sports my children are involved in at the time. And YES, I am a Panthers Fan!!
I am looking forward to being a part of the growth of this center. Thanks so much for the opportunity to pour into the lives of so many children and this wonderful staff!
